I have been working at SAP as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

I've been an intern with them for numerous months and I'm part of a great supportive community (in both general and particularly to my department). I'm trying hard to find a position to stay with them!

    Cons

I have not experienced any cons yet: that may be because I'm not a career threat to anyone and management actively focuses the corporate competitiveness towards outside competitors and the achievement of a satisfying career path.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The salary is good compared to the market, plus you have many other perks.
It is a huge ship which is difficult to move, but not impossible. If you have the ambition and energy, you can accomplish great things. But nothing is delivered on a silver plate, you need to fight your way through to get there.

    Cons

Many employees who have been working at SAP for a really long time (>20 years) so sometimes it is not very dynamic. Some of these people work the way we used to work 10 - 20 years ago. So sometimes it is challenging to innovate (talking about disruptive innovation) in such an environment.

    Advice to Management

Salary bumps do not exist, even though your performance is great, your augmentation is always around 2 - 3 % which is not fair if you deserve way more.

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a good working environment, for my role at least it's very flexible.
The company has a lot to offer in terms of variety of software and innovation.
    Salary and benefits are good.

    Cons

It's so very corporate. At the end of the day they care more about whether or not you entered your time correctly than the actual work you do and you really are just a number.

    Advice to Management

Run simple is good, but please run even simpler because things are still very complex.
