I have been working at SAP as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

    - The new iXp program offers a lot of amazing opportunities to interns, such as travelling to an iXp summit, power hours with external presenters, and social events.
    - You will be doing the same/similar job as a full-time employee, which is a great learning experience.
    - Amazing office, games room, gym, and patio.
    - There are many opportunities for personal development including webinars, workshops, coffee corners, and events.

    Cons

    - It is hard to get promoted to a full-time position unless are a software developer or have technical skills
    - Lag in communications since part of the team is located in Germany

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I've been working here for over 18 years now and it is a fast paced dynamic environment that challenges me and allows me to push myself and grow.
The organization is filled with intelligent and driven individuals who are an absolute joy to work with.
The compensation and benefits package is very competitive
There is some flexibility in the working environment with things like working hours and working remotely, etc.
    Tons of career development opportunities!

    Cons

On the flip side of it being fast paced and dynamic, the work load can be overwhelming sometimes so keeping work life balance can be a challenge. Overall the pluses far outweight the negatives

I worked at SAP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - High salary for entry level employees
    - Chances for networking with many different people
    - Company is successful
    - Interesting work

    Cons

    - Manager was a sociopath who just wanted to make your life miserable
    - Inappropriate jokes and comments made by manager at your expense. Constant humiliation of employees on team.
    - Office politics, felt like high school, a lot of gossip
    - High workload, staying late almost everyday + working weekends
    - Nearly impossible to become a senior employee and senior employees often try to hide key information so they secure their jobs and no one gets promoted

    Advice to Management

Stop reassuring your unhappy employees by using cheap positive words and actually make some changes to keep people rather than continuously try to find new hires.
