I worked at SAS Institute full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great culture and colleague
    Great work life balance
Great benefit if you work at head quarter

    Cons

    Below industry average pay
Salary adjustment is 1-2%, well below pace of inflation each year
    Below average bonus (typically 5%)
Hard to move up within the company (employees here work in a position forever and there is no room to grow)

    Advice to Management

Management is doing a great job, however it's hard to retain young talent when they effectively making less and less each year they work for the company

Sales people are a requirement for company and pay is not great.

    Advice to Management

Sales People are your lifeblood. Let loose of the reins Mr. Goodnight.
