I have been working at SBS (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Luxury of working for a family owned business with great leadership skills. Excellent co-workers. There are few positions in this company that are routine. Everyday is exciting and new.

    Cons

Can make more money at bigger companies. Some of the office equipment is outdated. Technology is not the highest priority of the company.

    Advice to Management

Need more of a team concept. Sometimes there is too much leniency towards employees that need more discipline.

    Pros

Great work life balance, a relaxed and friendly vibe and staff committed to a purpose.

    Cons

Lots of meetings and unnecessary bureaucracy. Something of a sheltered workshop that sometimes seems divorced from the real world.

More doers and fewer managers would make a big difference to the productivity of the place.
