I have been working at SCC full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Yes, SCC has it's challenges but tell me any role within any company that doesn't have challenges at some point. My personal experience with SCC has been that if you put in the commitment and effort then you are respected and supported. I have latitude in my role that enables me to balance my home life with a young family that cannot be monetised. There have also been two family emergencies which needed me to take time out - my manager and the company asked no questions and asked for nothing in return.

    Cons

SCC is, like a lot of companies, being challenged as it adjusts to economic and industry changes. Corporate support for newcomers could be better but this is countered by the willingness of seasoned team members to help individuals. If you want to be spoon fed and walked through every part of your role then this probably isn't the company for you, but if you embrace it and put the effort in it can be rewarding.

    Advice to Management

Employees genuinely believe in this company and want it to succeed. Frustrations that naturally occur could be reduced by increased communication and explanation. Skip level meetings would help engage staff and increase belief that commitment is being recognised.

Great culture in relation to work life balance and being offered investment where the ROI stacks up . None of the drag you experience working for vendors despite the size of the company .

Benefits package could be better in terms of pensions and sick pay but understand why in this day and age it isn't .

    Advice to Management

Keep driving the business plan as its clearly working and creating the right environment for people to excel .

    Advice to Management
