    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at SCL Health full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great coworkers Good Benefits Ability to work remotely New technologies

    Cons

The company no longer values it's employees. What used to be a family environment is now all about $. If you come to work here then take what skills you learn and then take them somewhere else. Don't stay too long. Management now seem to be on constant chaos. There is no job security any longer.

    Advice to Management

Show some concern for your people. Find yourselves again. It used to be Sisters of Charity.

I have been working at SCL Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - There are many quality non-management associates - Ability to work remotely

    Cons

    - Lack of communication on multiple levels - Lack of quality leadership - Lack of transparency - Lack of competitive compensation

    Advice to Management

I have been working at SCL Health full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Flexibility to work remote, great working team, great healthcare benefits (insurance through Cigna is affordable), great retirement package after you've been there 5 years

    Cons

No maternity leave (you have to utilize FMLA/disability to obtain a % of pay for a handful of weeks then utilize your PTO, which you only get 3 weeks of per year which is also consumed for holidays...and you can only keep 180 hrs or so per year, making it impossible to roll over and utilize for maternity leave...so essentially you risk your job and/or not getting paid if you choose to have children), no assistance/day...

I worked at SCL Health full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The company was faith-based and growing.

    Cons

My direct report manager was a mess. She was an information hoarder, micromanager and had a variety of personal problems that impacted her treatment of her subordinates

    Advice to Management

Pay attention when a team cannot keep people. People leave managers, not necessarily jobs.
