    Pros

Amazing technology! HR is amazing! This company is small but has a big heart, "The Little Engine That Could".

    Cons

Lacking motivated individuals , not all of them but some in key areas.

    Advice to Management

Really look at who cares about the future growth and development of the company and get rid of those who don't!

    Pros

Benefits are good, hours are good

    Cons

Management is very poor, HR department is very dysfunctional and unprofessional routinely, very poor raises for what you do, loyalty to no-one individual, micro-managed to death, the overhead of this company is absolutely ridiculously top heavy with unproductive and out of touch managers

    Advice to Management

Look what you are spending your investment monies on, Manager should have retired 10 years ago (out of touch) You have zero motivation within your walls. ZERO

I worked at SDC Materials full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

When the CEO (Doctor) is out of town. He has a very short temp. He's going to blow sometime, then somebody can ship him back to Germany in a box.

    Cons

The CEO like to micro manage EVERYTHING. I am not sure why he has managers, oh yea, to yell at them. If you work here you better have very thick skin.

    Advice to Management

The CEO needs to take a Chill Pill and let your managers do there jobs.

I worked at SDC Materials full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

the majority of the workers and scientist that work for this company are pleasant to work with and have reasonable motivation to push the science forward to see it come into fruition.

    Cons

The CEO has a habit of hiring in volume, fairly worthless managers in the ratio of 1:1 per worker. There was one occasion that I had to explain to one of these individuals what exothermic was. That's really sad. There is a trend here.

    Advice to Management

It's a solely owned company, advice will not help.

    Pros

Viel zu lachen darüber, wie private und EU- Fördergelder vernichtet werden

    Cons

Korrupte Führung incl. Externals bereichern sich an Fördergeldern,
    keine Zukunft für das Unternehmen

    Advice to Management

Führungsetage schnellstmöglich ersetzen, gegen engagierte Leute, denen die Zukunft und der Erfolg des Unternehmens wichtiger sind, als ihr eigenes Portemonnaie
