I have been working at SEACOR full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    good benefits,
    great employees to work with

    Cons

they give not a lot of info about stuff you should know about. Seem to find one person to pick on and then pick so much they either leave or made to leave.

    Advice to Management

Try doing more. The motto of I just need to know what you are doing not how to do it really isn't the best way to lead. I believe a manager should be able to pick up right where someone left off if they had to. Can't say that for MOST of the managers in the accounting department.

    Pros

    Money is Good..Time Off..health benefits

    Cons

No one follows policy offshore and if you speak up your a trouble maker... .then when someone gets hurt or property damaged, they look to blame you. Or fire you..

    Advice to Management

Start a retirement program, people that give half their life to make the company successful should be compensated after being vested 5 years with the company, not hung out to dry after years of service
