I worked at SEC (Less than a year)

    Pros

Breadth of work and topics, very interesting subject matter, ability to feel like you're involved in the investigation

    Cons

Obviously depends on the person, but some attorneys did not dish out useful work to interns (which is understandable). Also no real track to being employed by the SEC later because of Federal application procedures

I worked at SEC as a contractor

    Pros

Super nice people in the Atlanta Regional Office.

    Cons

Contractors have a tough time, but this is not due to anyone in the Regional Office.

    Advice to Management

Would be helpful if there was more training for new contractors.
