I have been working at SGS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Interesting work, good hours, lots of training available; colleagues are a blast to work with. Overtime if you want it, excellent and responsive managerial structure. Benefits are excellent too.

    Cons

There aren't any. To me this is the perfect job.

I have been working at SGS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The job is very active and engaging. Overtime is available. Time flies by while working.

    Cons

Understaffed for the workload, expected to complete data at an impractical rate, lack of equipment necessary. Low pay, little to no communication in departments.

    Advice to Management

Hire on more staff and decrease the stress on your workers for better performance. The goals of the company will not be reached unless there is a communicative team to complete tasks.

I worked at SGS full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    1. Free Coffee
    2. Good Washrooms
    3. Salary on time

    Cons

    1. Not clear about the VISION. Most of the people just want their day to end as soon as possible and there ain't a single passionate person in the whole premises i.e SGS, Gurgaon.
    2. When the profit becomes the main center point of a company, it is certainly bound to decline, that's what is happening in this company. Business is not coming, pathetic salary structure and too much pressure on employees.
     3. No sales process, no sales training and no strategy when it comes to increasing their market share. Higher Management is just wandering in the fog, they don't know what to do. Their employees are resigning on a daily basis as growth is negligible in this company, like seriously!!
    4. Most of my colleagues in SGS are in depressing state because of the pressure by the higher management.
    5. Company is run by people and if you don't give a damn about them, they wont also give a damn about you and mark my words, most of the people working for you, doesn't care for you. Just sit in the canteen area and try to listen what people are taking about, you will get to know that most of the people don't care about SGS, not a single praise and not a single admiration. I am ain't kidding!!

    Advice to Management

A serious overhaul of higher management is mandatory!!!!! Mumbai Headquarter really needs an internal audit otherwise a company which was started with a purpose will definitely see land sliding off their feet. TUV SUD, BSI and several other companies are beating you down, you know that!!! So it's a high time to take action or otherwise Aufwiedersehen!!

    I worked at SGS full-time

    Pros

Good reputed company to work for
Good upper management(I definitely had one of the few best manager I had so far)
Easy going environment, as far as work is done

    Cons

If you know how to pretend(you know everything) you are good.
    Stereotype people.
Lab supervisors and senior people bit lazy and manipulative.
Never seen a company let go so many employees in my whole career so far.
Low pay and yearly raise if any.

    Advice to Management

A lot of you people are still time(just keep and eye in break-room or people watching there cell phone while at work) Staff in charge saying that they are doing tasks, they really aren't.
