The job itself was not so hard, you can wear jeans and T-Shirts. PTO time was fine The employees were nice and there was plenty of diversity Overtime available

Lack of positive reinforcement from Management Favoritism was rampant and made employees feel alienated Not much room for growth unless you were willing to change positions Pay was low for the industry

-Low salary - additional PTO only awarded to people who have been in he company longer - Building a book of business is challenging. Many people end up calling the same 50-100 accounts hoping for a sale. - It can take several years to build the relationships you need with customers to have a regular buyer. - Communicating with distributors and getting quotes out in a timely manor can be challenging with varying response times. - You can pref what territory/time zone you want in training, but will ultimately end up wherever they decide they need you. - Managers in SMB rarely have actual experience managing people - Commission structure regularly changing - Pressure to compete constantly array - CRM is difficult to use and filled with outdated information from companies that have been in the system for years - Can take a while to make your first sale. There are a lot of factors that are out of your control. Some of the most dedicated reps I know still took months to get their first customer - Work Life Balance was challenging
