    Doesn't Recommend

    I worked at SISSA/ISAS full-time

    Pros

Very interesting people and hunger for knowledge. Cutting edge research in many areas of theoretical Physics, with an emphasis on quality research and publications

    Cons

Lack of interest in helping students with their future careers, a very narrow view of the challenges faced by people in the academic world today and no program to help students find alternative solutions

    Advice to Management

Invest more time and resources in the promotion of students for they are the future of research, expand your vision by looking outside of the reality of your own research careers.

The bus to reach SISSA and come back to the city is pretty crowded in the rush hour.

    I worked at SISSA/ISAS full-time

    Pros

I experienced autonomy to follow my interests and develop my career. SISSA has an international workforce at the student and postdoc level.

    Cons

SISSA tends not to hire permanent staff who are not Italian. Consider SISSA as a temporary stepping stone to your next postdoc.
