        SIUE provides a variety of opportunities for graduate students in terms of tuition waiver and stipends that comes with being a graduate assistant.

          I have been working at SIUE part-time for more than 2 years

          Pros

          The only thing that was seemingly okay working as a graduate assistant was the fact that I got a tuition waiver.

          Cons

          My paycheck got cut several times, it was frustrating and I felt like I was free labor.

          Advice to Management

          Figure out how to pay student workers properly and not like they are peasants.
