    Pros

There is one Assistant general manager that is nice. He is fair and always speaks and thanks you for doing your job

    Cons

The management staff is unprofessional. They treat part time and reg full time employees like they are doing them a favor.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more professional managers. Offer a customer service class or training on how to treat employees

I have been working at SMG Management full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working and gaining experience from one of the best event/facility management companies in the industry.

    Cons

Little compensation for the amount of work and time that is spent away from family. If you want to start a family, do not work for SMG. You will not be able to afford it, and you won't see them often.

    Advice to Management

    Better pay would retain employees.

-People there are nice and funny
    -Easy to learn the ropes

    Cons

-Nothing really, it's a bummer that you have to do your job instead of watching the event

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up.

    Pros

The people are wonderful here. Every day brings about something new. There's always a new event, new client, with new attendees.

    Cons

You spend more time in the office than expected. I anticipated being on the show floor 75% of the time, but in my case, I believe it's close to the opposite.
