    I have been working at SNC-Lavalin Constructors full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Snc-Lavalin is full of wonderful individuals who are bright and talented and make the overall day to day experience tolerable

    Cons

    Considering how bright and fun the people here are, they can't seem to get anything right. The company the last few years has been mismanaged, the leadership is practically non existent and communication between departments is actually non existent. There are a lot of chefs in the kitchen none of whom seem to know what's actually going on.

    Advice to Management

    The executive team needs to be removed, there is too much old enron blood. SNC-Lavalin Constructors needs a fresh perspective with fresh eyes and an entirely new team to lead this once great team to victory again.

    Pros

    The people are very nice and I have made some good friends at the company. The Expat employees are cared for very much even if it is hard for them to see from Management.

    Cons

    HR is not about support but about being strategic. Management is completely blind to the abilities of the employees and enjoys the employee who sucks up the most and rewards it regularly as they have very low self-esteme and do not appreciate the employees who really do the work and that is in all departments. Management is the largest down fall for this company.

    Advice to Management

    Take a look around at who really does the work and who just does the talk.
