I have been working at SNC-Lavalin

    Pros

Free coffee and tea, most people are nice

    Cons

    - no work-life balance - employees expected to work after-hours and weekends without remuneration (not even banking time) - no employee perks - benefits switched to a new plan next year that require employees to pay if they want any decent coverage - feels like a one-sided employee-employer relationship - pay for parking

    Advice to Management

Management needs to recognize and acknowledge hard work, would be even better if there was some sort of remuneration

I worked at SNC-Lavalin full-time for more than a year

Diversity seems to be going well in the building. Paid overtime all the time if you were...

    Cons

Boring industry to be working in and has a lot of costs that can hurt them quiet quickly. Old, dull, and poor atmosphere or furniture. Favouritism seems to be a major issue for growth.

    Advice to Management

No comment as it doesn't matter :)

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at SNC-Lavalin

    Pros

Look good for future reference Work balance for non managerial position traing, standard benefit, stock option

    Cons

Unstable as company being restructuring, % of being laid off is very high Only offering minimum stardard severance package (1 week/service year) when company is earning at least of 50 million dollar every years

    Advice to Management

There is no employee moral within this company... as this is one of the key to success
