    Pros

Good pay and benefits. Talented teams of engineers and drafters. Great resume builder. Several locations across the US, Canada, and internationally.

I worked at SNC-Lavalin (Less than a year)

    Pros

The new (well sort of new) IT leadership is doing a great job of navigating the company during a time of great change. There are some truly outstanding people working in the group. I was in the Oil and Gas product line and only have positive things to say about that group as well.

    Cons

It's a big company and politics play a role as in any other. Mobility in general is a little difficult in IT.

    Advice to Management

Breaking down the formal hierarchy of responsibility and letting staff take on roles outside their primary one would help bring some diversity of opinion to the organization.

I worked at SNC-Lavalin (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good general workforce which was unfortunately let down by poor management who lacked integrity and often poorly qualified and experienced for the role they were in.

    Cons

Often called on to take assignments that would result in extensive travel and time away from home as well as long work hours.

    I worked at SNC-Lavalin full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

SNC Lavalin had a work office to work at with a cafeteria and great parking with great security also easy access to resturants, shopping mall and the 610 freeway. For people that hire in direct vacation, insurance and 401k

    Cons

The traffic in that area can be horrible. Especially heading north on 610. The company insurance is not that good.
