I had a great boss-Was good until I was laid-off.
Zero growth potential, layoffs due to contracts.

Cutting edge technology services are offered through Specialists On Call. Capable physicians are a plus.
Management is completely disorganized and ever changing with minimal stability and security. NO loyalty to their hardworking and sacrificial employees AT ALL. Very unfortunate on many sides.

nice location, easy commute off of Rt 28. A few of the longer lasting employees are nice, but most keep to themselves.
in-fighting, micro managed, no clue as to how to manage a contract. Management in one building, away from the workers. high turnover in support arena due to "old boy network".
Advice to Management
Understand the support system, not just the job.
The best reason to work for SOC is the chance to support an important mission of the United States.
There are many opportunities to make a difference.
The biggest issue at SOC is a lack of management.
In addition, there is no communication and management has shown a failure to learn from past mistakes.
