    territories don't always make sense but there's lots of business to be had everywhere so think of it that way. sell sell sell

    Was able to work on my own and create my own schedule

    Was expected to the position of upper management without the proper training.

    Pros

    Very flexible and want to help find you work. Great place to find temp work and possible move up through individual employers

    Cons

    Being in a small town makes it hard to find temp jobs, and there doesnt seem to be a lot of communication beween the company and its employees

    Advice to Management

    Under new management since i last worked there so not sure what advise to give, other than to keep communication between people.

    Pros

    There are so many wonderful things about what WAS SOS Employment Group. However, all that remained of their vision following the Elwood take-over were their great people. Unfortunately, they are dwindling daily.

    Cons

    They are now owned by Elwood Staffing

    They will not take it and have no interest in any feedback from their employees

    Pros

    The company culture is clearly defined and communicated from the CEO level through the organization. They employed on of the best VP of sales I have had the privilege to work with.

    Cons

    Transition to Elwood staffing was rocky and communication could have been much better in helping employees transition

    Pros

    The position was very demanding and fast paced. I enjoyed working with little to no supervision. The job also required that I run background and I9, which I also enjoyed.

    Cons

    There was no cons to the job. The company was bought out by Elwood Staffing.

    I worked at SOS Employment Group (Less than a year)

    Pros

    A varied environment with a large amount of positive contact and input to and from the customer. A high degree of responsibility and a varied quantity of machinery used.

    Cons

    Out in all kinds of weather, so all kinds of ailments are possible, from frostbite to sunburn. Quite often a large difference between what the customer wants and what the employer wants.

    Advice to Management

    Be vary clear, and in writing, what the customer wants, needs, and expects. With all the varied conditions possible, find where the leeway areas are in the contracted specifics.
