I have been working at SPI Industries full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Its a small family owned company so they give the employees special little perks when you have to work overtime that big companies don't do.

    Cons

Not good enough pay for the work that you do!!!!! Not a very clean work environment nor cooling in the heat like big companies.Really high turnover rate because of the work.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees that stay more!!

I worked at SPI Industries full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Small company with steady customer base, plenty of opportunities for improvement and growth, trying to implement and embrace new technologies.

    Cons

Pay tends to remain stagnant for years at a time, no sales representation to speak of, dependent on existing customer growth to grow their business, new work coming in was seldom.

    Advice to Management

Ownership needs to take an active hand in day-to-day operations. Many good people have been let go because one individual can't seem to get along with anybody. Nothing will improve long term until that issue is corrected.
