Very low pay for what you do. They have you work like a dog on the hopes you get to be a general manager, while not having to pay you like one.

"Treat employees terribly"
Doesn't RecommendDisapproves of CEOI worked at SPINX Company part-time for more than 3 years
Pros
-not minimum wage, which I guess is good if it's your first job and can't find anything higher -every 6 months you have a chance to get up to a $0.50 raise (realistically you'll usually get .15-.25 usually though) -pretty flexible hours, especially if you're part time
Cons
-No breaks. Literally no food or rest breaks. If you work in a bigger store you can probably sit down and eat while coworkers cover register, but if you're in a smaller store (like I was) then you'll probably just have to eat between customers, meaning you're out of luck if it's a really busy day and you're alone. -terrible training. They train you in a different location than you'll be working and when you go to your own store it can be very different. But since the training program is still new, the managers haven't gone through it and don't know what you've learned. So the managers just assume you know things and barely spend any time helping you learn and then get mad when you mess things up. -Frequently have 10-11 hour shifts, and in my experience there isn't always time to sit down for any of those hours -This may be specific to my location, but in my experience you basically get rewarded for being a bad employee and punished for being good. For example, my coworkers who wouldn't do their job would never be asked to work long hours alone because they wouldn't do a good job, but since I was a good worker I would have to work 8 hour closing shifts by myself without a 2nd thought. I got called in early on multiple occasions so that one of the lazy coworkers didn't have to work alone. -Just general unprofessionalism. Like, I get it, it's a gas station. I don't expect it to be fancy, but I expect decent levels of respect from management. I should not hear managers gossiping about their employees/former employees with regular customers or other employees. - terrible communication. There are tasks that I was told to do 3 different ways by 3 different managers and to this day I don't know who was right. Also, sometimes there would be major policy changes and I wouldn't be informed until I broke the rule and the manager would say something like "you know that changed last month, right?" as if I was just supposed to magically find out

I worked at SPINX Company part-time for more than a year
Pros
The pros about working for this company is the weekly pay. Also, if attend college they offer tuition reimbursement which is great option for students. They allow many growth opportunities within the company. The managers are willing to work with you. You can transfer to work for any Spinx store
Cons
The cons of working at Spinx is the low hourly pay. The employees always calling out so you always have to cover shifts. Spinx does not allow breaks. Most of the time you are standing the whole 8 hour plus shift.
