Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at SRC full-time for more than a year
Pros
- 401k package - Health insurance - Security clearance sponsorship The 401k and health insurance benefits are what separate the EW Engineer job from others. The company match far exceeds what is offered at competitors in the Electronic Warfare market. SRC is also a great company to get your security clearance sponsored and then move to a new role elsewhere for better pay and a better workplace environment/culture within the government contracting world.
Cons
- Archaic corporate culture/conventional corporate culture - Low pay - Micromanagement The annual salary for college graduates or early career engineers in the EW Engineer role is underwhelming. A ballpark figure would be 20-25% below national average for the EW Engineer role without encompassing cost of living adjustments. In addition, the company requires business casual dress code when its competitors are moving toward much more progressive policies. Desk setups consist of cubicles with older monitor/computer configurations. Lastly, micromanagement is constant and can trend toward unbearable. Office management utilizes project management software to track daily progress of each individual's work. The stress has led to a high turnover rate in the office and it seems that new engineers are hired bi-weekly to make up for this. Management is laser focused on churning out work than promoting a healthy workplace environment and a happy workforce.
