I worked at SSI Group for less than a year

    Pros

Growing company with the advancing technology that will allow many years of opportunities.

    Cons

Managers/Supervisors could separate personal relationships from working personnel.

I have been working at SSI Group full-time

    Pros

The pay and benefits are decent for the area. In my opinion these are the only pros that this company has going for them

    Cons

Horrible business ethics. Very unstable billing package that, after a year in production, the company still cannot get correct. Promotions with promised pay raises that you don't get for months. Very frustrated client base. No communication between departments.

    Advice to Management

Upper management has little knowledge to the issues with the products being pushed to clients. There needs to be more structure within the company starting from the top. Unfortunately, I see this company on a downward spiral.

I worked at SSI Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Salary and benefits are good for the area.

    Cons

Lots of changes in personnel and in the way SSI does business creates a chaotic atmosphere for employees and clients. Product roll-outs are flawed. No mentoring.

I worked at SSI Group full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Great co-workers, benefits, and pay.

    Cons

With all of the negativity recently about the company laying off employees or firing them, SSI is now using a contract company to hire all new employees. This is just a sneaky way for them to still let employees go without the negative impact falling on the good ole company name. They can lay off or fire contractors and still maintain that the company has not made any cuts. This is because technically the employees are...

    Advice to Management

Upper level management has no idea what employees actually do on a daily basis. Letting go of so many valued employees has proven that. Before making any other cuts, take the time to sit with the employee in question. Evaluate the person first hand instead of relying upon a flawed reporting system and the he said, she said system. There is a lot of personal conflicts between supervisors and employees, weather you want...

    Pros

Friendly people, right track. Growth potential.

Going through the growing pains to become a multi-million dollar company. Vacation starts out only 2 weeks and they only have bare minimum holidays.

I worked at SSI Group full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

SSI offers fair pay and benefits as they always have.

    Cons

Since the change in C level management we have lost costumers and employees. SSI has had at least 100 lay offs in the last 18 months but most employees are leaving on their own now. The CTO is hiring mostly his colleges from previous companies he has worked for. The entire sales department has been replaced just for one example. If you're not in the "click" then you do not have a chance so unless you are related...

    Advice to Management

Replace some of the C levels with someone that knows the business at SSI and maybe it can once again be the great company it was. Bring back the COO that was pushed out. She made the company strong.

    I worked at SSI Group
