    Pros

None other than you can take food as u please yes I took food and didn't care whether I could or not because the place was such a crap hole u could get away with it 😂

    Cons

Well they are RACIST!!! They hire a lot of Eastern Europeans and then they will bring in their family friends and cousins so majority of the team will either be from the same country or and employee has brought them in. They all speak their language at work, in front of customers etc the English managers would put a stop to it then the Eastern European would just come and push it back to how it was before

    Advice to Management

Maybe stop getting all these Eastern Europeans who are racist talking about people and customers everyday thinking no one will understand. Be more diverse oh and put some damn cameras in your walk in fridge all those lovely free food and drink was marvellous hahahaha

I have been working at SSP Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good friendly people. Lots of variety for different brands and locations. Opportunity to develop career if prepared to work hard

    Cons

The values of the company in the last few years have changed beyond recognition. Very concerned at the lack of basic standards for team members and no one listens. The very top of the company are not interested in anything other than profit for the shareholders but at what price?
The managers within the company are managed so closley that they are just following the company line to deliver what is expected from HO. No one listens as there are so many complaints by teams that it has become normal. Very sorry to see this situation for what was once a great company.

    Advice to Management

Not sure if it is worth giving any as they don't listen. If they did they need to change their strategy at the top of the company and start to look after people that work for them. Get all departments working together to support the people That serve the customer and put the customer first.
Analyse what it is that needs to change and what tools are needed to enable the managers to be great at leading the teams.

I worked at SSP Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Central London location and fair pay.

    Cons

The culture is utterly awful, there is absolutely no regard taken for staff or customers. The company is 100% profit obsessed at the detriment of everything else.
People are publicly humiliated and shouted at in a hierarchical, dragons den like way.
I experienced people crying all the time, it because normalised. The turn over of staff is chronic and it is difficult to find anyone who is happy working there.
No one believes in the product or brands and customer exploitation is the norm.
There is a complete lack of leadership and strategy - it is a chaotic and exhausting working environment, I would not recommend it to anyone.
