    Pros

    Work life balance is great. Management seems to really care about employees. Customer first mentality is apparent. Coworkers are reliable and team oriented.

    Cons

    On boarding and training were very minimal. They are not very technologically advanced and have many manual processes for data trending and analysis. Far too many websites for employee use and trying to determine where you go for what.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the positive morale up, maybe focus on technology that could save you and staff time to focus on other endeavors.

    Very good work life balance

    Cons

    The highest level of management is not qualified. They don't stretch themselves or their employees. They surround themselves with their friends instead of highly qualified employees. High potential employees don't last as the pace is too slow. No accountability required. Executives who miss plan are not removed. This company will be sold and profits will soar.

    Advice to Management

    Hold your executives accountable. Figure out what your strategy is and execute it. Overhaul your executive staff.

    Pros

    Growing company, 2017 outlook looks good. Short staffing/turnover will cause some serious overtime work in the next year. I have always had a great manager who you can actually talk to about issues.
    Great benefits, but bonus compensation outside of salary is lacking.

    Cons

    Limited opportunity for advancement unless you live in Mentor OH or Montgomery AL.
    Training programs need some work.
    Outdated software used for documenting work orders.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on employees more and reward those who get the job done every time.

    Great location and parking. Good benefits

    High stress environment. Poor communication of changes. Outdated documentation creation and retention systems. Decision making process ridiculously long. Generally negative and highly disorganized environment. High management turnover

    Advice to Management

    Listen to people more. Be organized. Be objective in problem solving, not subjective. That's why the place is so tense. Work on retaining managers. Production manager should not make promises that he can't keep to clients. Care more about the vision of the organization than just profits and surviving another day. Create an environment for passionate employees who take pride in their work to stay

    Pros

    Very good benefits, home most nights, company provides minivan, charges a small weekly fee and allows you to use it for personal use. Steris pays all insurance & maintenance.

    Cons

    Companies priorities are wrong. Profits and metrics rule all of management's decision making. Customer service & employee satisfaction are completely ignored until a problem arises with a product. Then customer service is the main focus and the service tech is completely expendable.

    Advice to Management

    Mirror business model of AMSCO, the very successful company you aquired in 1996.

    - Low cost of living
    - Company's longevity
    - Company's growth and expansion in the industry

    Cons

    - Undertrained management with little or poor leadership experience.
    - Use of the 'hire your buddy' system weakens the level of quality and talent within the workforce.
    - Merit based bonuses are threatened by poor team performance. (Why should one employee suffer the consequences of another individual's actions or lack there of?)

    Advice to Management

    - Hire based on education and relevant experience rather than name association
    - Promote based on project completion and success (rather than attempting to move a troublesome employee to a new department)
    - Reward those that promote professionalism, collaboration and produce positive results
    - Implement a L&D/HR metric system that can actually be understood and adhered to (having a system just to have one is waste of time and resources and produces no results).
