I worked at STERIS full-time for less than a year

    Pros

good pay good staff end shift 2pm and do not work weekends part time was the best

    Cons

always being watch and pulled up over silly things no training officer to train you being told you do not need to no the instruments in other words just count them if there is 87 on your tray its right course you need to now what they are bad management in this place

    Advice to Management

management in the office do not know how to run the unit the manager does not no a thing, keep the agencies out of there there the ones messing thing up. i can see it closing in next 12/24 months if the hospitals find out whats going on in there all the short cuts being taken you need more qualified staff and not every tom and harry that come in thinking they already no the job but do not no a thing. ... something needs to be done about the ones in the office who think they no how to run it but do not no a thing leave it to the staff that have been there 20/30 years and not the people been there 5 min. jan(i think her name was) she is the one that should be manager and running it she new everything
