    Positive working environment with great products.

    Not a lot of opportunity for career advancement. People tend to stay in positions for long periods of time

    I worked at STERIS full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Good people with integrity and customer focus, good contract presence.

    Cons

    Lack of career advancement opportunities, average compensation, slow to market new products vs. competition. Average marketing department sometimes slow to respond, or unable to offer appropriate level of expertise to field sales/customer needs.

    Advice to Management

    Invest more in "training up" internal employees for future advancement and leadership opportunities. Improve internal talent management.
