    Pros

Decent Benefits great coworkers and good pay.

    Cons

STG was a subcontractor of a terrible company call Ingensis and STG lost the contract which caused my job to end.

I worked at STG International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some genuinely nice employees who work hard. None of them in executive positions. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. Office is nice and building provides shuttle to Metro.

    Cons

Staff treated with suspicion and disdain. Executive staff not trustworthy. Smile to your face, stab you in the back. So greedy and dishonest. Announced that they had to layoff staff in an impromptu meeting, saying that they were cutting positions and you would know it was you if management called you for a meeting 10 minutes after the meeting ended. Awful management practices. Many jobs have no job description, no identifiable way to try to get a promotion or criteria to measure your performance. Performance reviews completely subjective.

    Advice to Management

Your greedy and underhanded tactics are not as covert as you think they are. If job turnover rates are high it's a reflection of how you do your job. You could all stand a little introspection from the CEO down. You're not interested in providing good service, you're more interested in paying yourselves more, trying to work the government contract system, and not paying competitively for good work.

    Pros

luncheons wer ok, the salary was descent

    Cons

This company works for PHS and does not listen or care to listen to the Nurses or Clinicians who work there. If you want a stress free job, look elsewhere, STG is cut throat, will only listen to their client, not nursing or clinicians. Not worth applying.

    Advice to Management

None at this time, I don't think it will help.

I worked at STG International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They are desperate so they will tell you anything. Loan repayment for advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, and physicians is a huge help. However, if you can last the entire 2 1/2 years to fulfill the loan repayment contract then you're ahead of the game.

    Cons

Benefits are expensive. As a contractor the company does not protect their contractors from the abuse received by the Public Health Service staff who are all management. No opportunities for advancement. Forget about a raise unless there is a high turnover and then they'll throw you some extra to keep you quiet. Very difficult for RNs to get loans replayed. If you are going back to school, the job doesn't care. They are always short staffed and the job comes first

    Advice to Management

Protect your contractors and don't wait until there is staff shortage to give your staff a raise. Need to have available affordable health insurance for your employees.

    Pros

None. Worst employer ever. There is nothing that I can say other than they need to start from the ground and redo everything.

    Cons

    Poor management
    Terrible benefits ($1,100/month)
Awful job. Worst client I ever worked with.
    Slow to respond to everything.

I have been working at STG International full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I get the have input on projects and help come up with ideas to help find solutions. I genuinely feel like they value my ideas. The tele-work option is great for me because I would otherwise have a really dreadful commute.

    Cons

The tele-working has compressed the meeting agenda to one day a week. For some reason management wants to hold certain meetings in person. Not everybody know how to use the Go To Meeting and the Conference line to schedule "virtual" meeting.

    Advice to Management

My advice is to hold your staff accountable for doing their jobs and using the tools they have available.
