    Pros

    Interesting technology and products. Company is willing to spend money on tools, machines.Reasonable workload, though tapeout schedule times can be a little much.

    Cons

    No significant training for employees. Not much room for advancement. They like to layoff people/location in the United States.

    Some projects arrived in a critical path and you find yourself working under stress (project value : some Million of dollars). Hurry up, do your job quickly but do it correctly ...

    Pros

    Good working environment and benefits. Low stress and friendly coworkers.

    Cons

    No career growth. Management team came from Europe. They made all the decisions, and had a hard time learning to trust employees.

    Advice to Management

    Make quick and firm decisions.

    People, diversity, benefits, mobility potential, European roots, travel, pension plan, good 401k matching, work life balance, cross functional tasks,

    Cons

    Slow to promote, minimal stock allowances, lower pay than competitors, salary increase just matches inflation, constant cost-cutting programs, not investing enough in US as French and Italian employees cannot be layer off.

    People are friendly. Interesting technologies.

    Cons

    Very European centric in terms of employment and customer service. In other words, lay offs occur in the Americas or Asia first, before any consideration in Europe. Not very flexible with customer requests, unless the request fits exactly within the present business model.

    Controlled by their HQ's. BU needs to toe the line of HQ. HQ needs to understand one solution does not fit all problems.

    Break the shackles
