    I worked at STONEWALL JACKSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Some of the staff were exemplary, for example Traci Chapman, Supervisor and Keith Chapman RN in ER, now in ICU. There was, in general, an attitude of caring about what was best for the patient.

    Cons

    Some of the equipment could have been updated, and communication between departments needed improvement.

    Pros

    The benefits that this hospital offer are very good.

    Cons

    The managment in the department i worked in was horrible. They were very unorginised and often questioned the offices need for supplies. Also the pay is very poor for the job you perform.

    Advice to Management

    Find some orginzation, pay attention to your staff and offices needs, be more friemdly and underatanding of your employees and adjust pay to the job preformed.

    Pros

    Pros to working here were the closeness to home. The benefits are good as long as you use one of their doctors.

    Cons

    Supervisors have no idea of what goes on in each department and the amount of work that each person has to do.

    Advice to Management

    Value your employees. Give raises according to merit, .05 raises a year does not provide incentive to work.
