    Pros

I have worked for the company for a number of years. The company has a unique culture, and a real drive to achieve. So many great people who really want to make the company successful.

    Cons

Can be a tough job for trainees as the market is competitive. But for those who are willing to apply themselves and think long term, there are really good career opportunities, globally.

    Advice to Management

Keep developing the company for the future

    Pros

Good Culture, everyone enjoys themselves but gets the job done. Pay is standard for the industry, difficult to progress into higher pay brackets

    Work / life balance

    Cons

There’s long hours but I find you get that in any sales role – the commission makes up for it! It can sometimes be hard to get going, but people are really supportive and the training team are really useful.

    Advice to Management

To much middle management, need to give staff more autonomy. Constantly fluctuating targets are annoying and don't focus employees. More reward for targets hit rather than upping them.

    Pros

Good team ethic, good training, good commission, car allowance or car provided for hitting billing targets, good incentives offered

    Cons

Poor visibility on commission and promotion structures, billings for earnings inconsistent, company ethic of striking fast and not necessarily listening to the client

I worked at SThree full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Energetic work environment
    - Opportunity for travel
    - Growing in terms of number of offices in USA
    - Good rewards/incentives i.e lunch club

    Cons

    - Training for new starts is poor
    - Communicatiom between teams can sometimes be difficult
    - Lots of switching of people from team to team

    Advice to Management

Think more carefully about switching teams around so much as it can mess with the team dyamics and lead to a lot of confusion

    Pros

Company committed to staff development and training, great managers in the Singapore office that lead by example, work hard/play hard environment, chance to make good money.

    Cons

work can be repetitive and gets boring. Recruitment is ultimately a sales role so very KPI driven.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the ping pong table

I have been working at SThree full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Competitive salaries
    - Great people
    - A solid CSR strategy
    - Benefits are improving all the time
    - The company genuinely puts the time and effort into helping individuals build their career within the business

    Cons

The company was established in 1986 and sometimes you can really tell - it's a corporate entity that sometimes struggles to catch on to new ideas, although the CSR team are doing a fantastic job of drilling diversity and other contemporary ideals into the company. The slow pace of progress is really down to the individuals who have been with the company for years who don't like change. In the 2.5 years I've been with the company I've seen a lot of positive changes, so I've found that even slow-paced corporate cultures will respond if you hang in there and keep making noise for change.

    Advice to Management

Ditch the dinosaurs - the company is making rapid progress at joining the 21st century but there's still a lot of work to be done and there are still enough stale-male-pale suits in positions of power, making key decisions. They don't have the answers the business needs.
