    Pros

    Alternating 3-4 day workweeks.
    Monthly bonuses

    Cons

    You can get stuck with operating certain machinery for a very long time. (You get compensated based on the number of machines / operations that you're trained in.)

    Pros

    Small environment with good relations between employees

    Cons

    Cyclic industry. Frequent layoffs in shop floor personnel.

    Advice to Management

    Value employees better. Reduce layoffs to minimum required.

    Pros

    I loved 12 hours. Pay was good and I got along well with my supervisor. I loved to learn new
    positions within my department.

    Cons

    Working with Arsenic and wearing Hazmat suit.

    Very limited opportunities. If you not in with mgmt forget about moving up

    pay was good for this type of work

    hours were bad worked long nights 12 midnight to 12 noon

    employees encouraged to identify problems and fix them

    Cons

    demand for 8" silicon wafers is going down with out capability to do 12" in USA, remaining US operations will eventually be obsolete

    improve communications to employees on the status of the business
