    Cons

Well there is issues with health and safety concerns I think they need to do more than they have about pests

    Advice to Management

Keep up the working with employees who have missed work over something that is not in their control and please do something about the other issues that is over running the site you will continue to lose employees over it

I have been working at SYKES full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great opportunity for hands on experience. Excellent IT Team and Management. Chance to learn many areas of IT from Networking, Systems Management, Applications, etc. Very busy, fast paced environment. You will NOT get bored.

    Cons

Can be long work hours for some projects (but there's OT!) Pay rate is a little lower than local market. Very busy, fast paced environment. Every other department gets lunch paid for often - not IT though.

    Advice to Management

Better recognition for hard work from higher levels of management. A bonus now and then would be nice. IT keeps the place running, however they are the "forgotten" department.

I have been working at SYKES part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. The support from the coaches is outstanding and can't be beaten.

    Cons

    1. Downside is the schedule is hard to change
    2. There really is no chance of raises unless you move up with a position

    Advice to Management

Listen to your agents more. We are telling you what we need but sometimes it feels as though we are just speaking into a black hole. We also need more raises.

I have been working at SYKES full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work from home allows flexibility for those who are in school or have children. It's decent money if you are supplementing income.

    Cons

Doesn't pay well, horrible benefits. No decent pay raises unless can work 10,000 hours in a year. The pay will not be enough to survive on as a single income.

    Advice to Management

Give better incentives that aren't designed to increase your bottom line.

I have been working at SYKES part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Ability to work from home. I used to enjoy working for them but my current program is so bad, I am looking for new employment.

    Cons

Programs are poorly run, QA's are inaccurate, they cheat you on tech pay, my current team lead is really bad at communicating and responding to you, if she bothers to at all, and senior management isn't very good either, they lose programs because of it, and training is insufficient to say the least.

    Advice to Management

Some team leads are unqualified for the position, and some programs are so bad, like my current one, no one stays very long. Senior management is not very good and you lose programs because of it. You also should know some positions need much more than a week or so of training, and you need better trainers. People make mistakes because they are not adequately trained.
