    Cons

Pay is kind of low, but it depends on what company you service.

I worked at SYKES full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

As a call center agent, you get to work from home. The technology the company uses is up to date, scheduling is good and the company culture is great.

    Cons

The company is somewhat disorganized, it's almost impossible to move out of the call center environment and into a corporate position.

    Advice to Management

Stress less about metrics, more about improving the employee experience and there would be greater employee engagement and retention.

I worked at SYKES full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I loved being able to work from home and they had several campaigns you could choose from to work with varying hours.

    Cons

The biggest concern for me was the technical side after over a week of going back and forth between my provider and them each one saying it was the others issue I had to leave because I had lost so many hours.

I worked at SYKES full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Steady work, great hours and plenty of training

    Cons

If you aren't tech savvy I recommend looking at something less complex. The training is excellent if you are able to work around all the confusion going on in the training room. Lots of down time waiting for others to catch up.

    Advice to Management

Look at breaking the training up into phases....phase 1, phase 2. Can't move on until you are proficient in the first phase. Too many people were able to get by who shouldn't have.

I worked at SYKES full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy to make money if you offer on every call.

    Cons

Having to offer services to people who can't afford it. Having to be able to withstand people cursing you out for things that were not your doing.

    Advice to Management

Not having to use your break time to go to the restroom.
