I worked at SYKES full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working from home is always a plus. The trainers I had were great as with my team leaders. The system was easy to use and there were always resources to help when needed.

    Cons

My main issue was stability. I worked on two programs, both which ended after 6 months, while I was only inactive for about a month in between and always on the list to contact for new opportunities not knowing if you will still be employed or getting a paycheck regularly can be concerning.

This is a great place to work. Management is very suportive. Your're coworkers feel more like family.

    Cons

Calls are sometimes stressful when dealing with upset customers but you get used to it.

I have been working at SYKES full-time

    Pros

Im not sure who was training, when those bad review's were put out but so far the trainers have been very thorough with everything that needs to be covered, and they do help in the nesting stage, they are willing to work with you if you dont fully understand and give you more time, also if you work hard and show up to work and actually do your job and want to move up they provide a lot of help and support with that as well, they want to see us do well in work life and in personal as well, they will work with you as long as your not taking advantage of their system and show you want to work.
They are willing to try as much as possible to give you a schedule that works for your life, if your a parent, or go to school or even have a second job. Witch is pretty nice since most companies dont care.

    Cons

Only cons i found so far are, and this is at any place, but some immature people work there

    Advice to Management

You guys are doing great so far, making me and my co workers feel comfortable and confident.

I have been working at SYKES full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They are flexible and understand life happens. The people are positive and will go to bat for you if you do well at your job.

    Cons

Training is a little tough to get through. The classes are so large that people get stuck or left behind.

    Advice to Management

Have smaller training classes so that the people who move quickly are being bored to death by the people who don't. In fact, starting a training class with two trainers for the first week and then splitting off into two training groups based on learning speed would be most helpful.

I have been working at SYKES full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

All of the people I've dealt with in this virtual call center have been very helpful with any questions or issues. If you can use chat, the sups are right there to answer your question.
Steady work, full time, and no time spent on the road and paying for gas.

    Cons

The pay is minimum wage with yearly raises, but they do have insurance benefits, incentives, and promote from within. Seems to be opportunity for advancement.

    Advice to Management

The starting pay could be a bit higher.
