I worked at SYKES full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work at Home, Peers and Lower Management were mostly quite friendly. Good onboard training program.

    Cons

Minimal Salary, No direct Supervisor (Group Supv Team), Treated as a Number. Room for advancement for very few. If you are lowest on the metrics and call volume is low you will be told to leave for the day.

    Advice to Management

Company hires bulk employee groups in which to weed down drastically by high production and quality standards. Management should rethink there current practices.

    I worked at SYKES full-time

    Pros

The training is intense for approx 12 weeks. Trainers will guide u through plenty of review and testing to make u accomplish your goal.

    Cons

The scheduling is a mess and there is never anything in the budget.

    Advice to Management

When a emergency happens in people's lives u should accept the documentation and count the occurance as a mishap and not against the employee. I would also recommend not allowing a portion of staff to break all dress code and eating rules as if they are an exception but enforce strictly for everyone else.
