    Pros

The pay was decent while it lasted.

    Cons

There's to much gossip and one-sided politics. The rollover period takes entirely too long. Temps or expendables are treated with very little respect.

    I worked at SYNNEX full-time

    Pros

Many long time employees, culture is employee friendly, having positive revenues for a long time

    Cons

Low margins and thus very cost conscious which results in under-staffing and long hours
Long hours, salaries are below industry, large company that is run still like a medium size/small company people wearing more than one hat and understaffed

    Advice to Management

    Hire more people

Provide more opportunities for advancement, add some "carrot" to the "stick" that is used too often

I worked at SYNNEX (More than a year)

    Pros

Company tries to do activities that bring employees together
Company does a good bit of charity work in the community

    Cons

Micro managed to death, no one trusts anyone from the top down
For my specific department it was apparent race played a role in upward movement. I saw two different African American friends of mine applied for positions they were highly qualified for be passed over for folks with no experience
No pay raises despite exceeding goals 100+%

    Advice to Management

Never fire your top sales person. I was accounting for 60% of the revenue of my department and was let go for interviewing with an outside company on my paid time off in an industry that did not compete whatsoever with my current employer. Insane.

I have been working at SYNNEX full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits, and a starting salary for sales reps in the $35k range

    Cons

Little room for advancement and hostile management.
Very much a good old boys club once you get to manager/director level.

    Advice to Management

Its doubtful that management can or will make changes to improve corporate culture at this point.

I worked at SYNNEX full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The HR team was great to work with and the people were friendly.

    Cons

Pay was stingy and there is no company culture. While I was employed there was only one company picnic in the parking lot of the corporate office with make-shift games made by the admin staff. It was pretty sad. Unless you're in sales there are no perks. Sales employees got to go to sporting and concert events in luxury boxes at SAP center and often had catered lunches provided by partners and customers.

    Advice to Management

Create a company culture where employees are valued and appreciated.

I worked at SYNNEX full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Hard working employees (too hard)

    Cons

HR protects the top leadership and not the employees
Senior HR will allow Mgt. to Over work employees, mistreat employees, demean people and talk to you and look at you like you are crazy and dismiss you before having a conversation.
    Unorganized
    Leadership NEEDS soft skills
    Low morale environment
    New ideas are not allowed
If your not kissing up you will not be rewarded
Processes for promotion/profit sharing not adhered to and only given to senior mgt "Friends circle"
    Holidays are not respected
Not only are employees squeezed to perform as 3-4 people but there are no true perks other than vacation time off.
No appreciation or value shown for hard work
    No training
    No support by mgt
    High turnover

    Advice to Management

If you reviewed the other SYNNEX and Concentrix reviews you would see the same problem persists!
Re-evaluate your leaders, give them soft skills, share the wealth by investing in true talent, don't dismiss those who are energetic, hungry and willing to improve your processes and make a positive difference. Give raises and performance reviews to all. Don't discriminate and mistreat these educated and hard working people.
NOTE: Sales may bring in revenue but they are not the only employees who drive value and should not be the only ones rewarded... Get it together, these two companies are a mess internally! Eventually the companies will fail because of the mis. management. The culture needs a HUGE makeover or needs one period.
