I have been working at Saatchi & Saatchi X full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of growth happening, and with that comes opportunity.

    Cons

Some members of the management team are change averse and they (intentionally or unintentionally) let that affect their work.

    Advice to Management

Do what you can to bring people along, but in the end, you have to know that some people would prefer to sit on their laurels than do something really hard but really worth it.

    I worked at Saatchi & Saatchi X full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fantastic group of people in that office. Hardest workers. Very creative and fun.

    Cons

They have a track record of not managing remote offices very well. New York failed. Chicago failed. If you don't work in the Arkansas office you're treated like a second class citizen. Senior management doesn't feel the pain of daily difficulties.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to manage remote offices. Trust and listen to your leaders in those offices. Learn how to better develop and RECOGNIZE talent. Demoting all your art directors and senior designers not a good look for a company that claims to be all about talent.

    I worked at Saatchi & Saatchi X full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Enjoyed leading a talented creative team while working with an incredibly close-knit cross functional team for the world's leading top CPG companies. Great work opportunities to build book and develop strategic skillset.

    Cons

Teams were very cut throat with each other. Trust outside of your core team was hard to find, including top leadership. Successes were only celebrated for select people.

I have been working at Saatchi & Saatchi X full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Flexibility, cultural, free space to think, opportunity to influence, experience working in large brands and the world’s largest retailer, cross-functional environment

    Cons

Relational merit performance, salaries based on 40 hour week; while reality work is 50 hours, lack of upper leadership alignment

    Advice to Management

Determine ways to have more objective merit and performance evals. Consider hiring previous brand sales reps as account to drive better understanding of clients’ business.

I have been working at Saatchi & Saatchi X full-time

    Pros

It really is a fun place to work and the people are great. Good city to work in as well.

    Cons

If you aren't willing to put in a lot of unpaid extra time, you won't likely be seen as a team player.

    Pros

Great brands to work with and great people.

    Cons

Not a ton of variety in the type of work.

    Advice to Management

Be willing to listen to employees and be more transparent about direction of the company.
