I have been working at Sabre full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hopefully in 5 years each product will have a true path and vision. The people are great but left without processes and true training or educational resources. There are literally none on the Hospitality side.

    Cons

Leadership has changed so many times in 18 months that the products path and vision change therefore confusing the market.

    Advice to Management

Finish your gutting of leadership before you market a product because the vision of each changes by quarter leaving the market confused.

I have been working at Sabre full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

New CEO is action-oriented and ensuring that his direct staff are focused and committed to making the company strong for long-term. Annual raises, tons of company-sponsored events, commitment to communications all are driving toward a focus on employee satisfaction in addition to strong technical infrastructure and driving change. Believe in this company.

    Cons

Last several years has impacted morale and there is a lack of trust.

    Advice to Management

Really get into the managers and below -- stop focusing all of the $$ on retention bonuses for executives and instead use that money to show you really believe in the talent - let them go to conferences, allow them to do training. That is money well spent rather than the millions being spent to keep executives around.

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Sabre full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    great people to work with

    Cons

constant fear of lay offs. long working hours between few time zones. Conference calls at crazy 6:00am to 11:00pm due to offices located in India and Asia. Work from home used to be a norm but it is not anymore. The employment is uncertain, people are tired of constant organizational changes, new business models and new upper management that make more that some departments. People really don't like their CEO and have no faith in top management.

    Advice to Management

you can only go for so long with "we are on the same boat" speeches. Lead by example. This company used to have great corporate culture but it is all gone today.
