    Pros

    Many people are good people with much experience and industry knowledge . Many of these people have moved into their positions thru on the job training and experience.

    Cons

    Too many layoffs and the stress and worry resulting from that .... also you do not get time or training to learn new technology and tools ... so when you get laidoff your skills are out of date !

    Advice to Management

    Keep your people up to date with training in the latest tools

    Good pay, good benefits, a lot of autonomy

    Competing "#1" priorities, knee-jerk reactions to customer complaints, managing quarterly statement to quarterly statement rather than ling term

    Put your people first. If you take care of your people they will take care of products and customers.

    Pros

    Good food court. Green building.

    Cons

    Management doesn't want to hear constructive criticism. HR is run like a Nazi camp. I was interrogated during my last day and treated like I was a criminal over an ethical concern. I felt like I needed a lawyer and felt ashamed, belittled and berated. (Linda K. ran the show)

    Advice to Management

    Major changes needed to overhaul the company culture and HR.

    Full of regional & global politics
    Everybody wants to take control, nobody cares about business or people
    No leadership at BLR
    Management does not know how to run business
    Real talent is not appreciated

    Sell the company, at least it will be run better.
