I have been working at Sabre full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Organizations available to employees for professional development and growth
    Work/life balance
Flexibility and wfh, depending on the manager

    Cons

Layoffs are becoming too common, with top talent being laid off due to issues with the bottom line
The manager completely determines the experience at the company - plenty of bad managers get promoted

    Advice to Management

There has been a lot of change over the last few years. The company needs a strategy and that direction needs to be communicated to employees. More transparency and investment in top talent to help with the depressed culture.

I worked at Sabre full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Flexibility, solid benefits, generous PTO policy for employees who had been there a while (have since cut back,) opportunity for growth, nice campus in Southlake, TX.

    Cons

They're are moving in the wrong direction. C-Suite is in shambles. Employees on the business side refuse to cooperate with one another. The once friendly and community oriented culture is now full of cynical, bitter employees. Lack of integrity and ethics abound. Ego driven with an inability to look at what's happing outside the company. Lack of accountability for poor performers who are allowed to stay and bring down their teams.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to eek out every penny you can through budget cuts and invest in real innovation instead of pretending. You won't attract top talent by pulling back on benefits community programs. You're regressing, especially for a tech company.
