    Pros

The coworkers are wonderful, fun atmosphere, love some of the supervisors

    Cons

Supervisors always seem they are to busy to help especially if u work from home. The pay SUCKS, THE HOUR'S SUCK, no room for advancement unless u know the claims department, u get your sales license but then u are stuck just selling insurance there is no room for advancement for sales reps

    Advice to Management

Raise the pay to stay more competitive, figure out why the turnover rate is so high, have more training classes to make sure employee's know there jobs

I have been working at Safe Auto full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people with whom I work on a daily basis are among the best people I have met at a company. With the inevitable exception of a few bad eggs, my coworkers are responsive, upbeat, and helpful. The company is laid back, and flexible with family/personal needs when they arise. There is also room to advance in the company, and upward mobility certainly exists. Middle management seems to be very responsive to employee suggestions and concerns.

    Cons

Training could use some overhaul in the claims department. Upper management seems out of touch with the "boots on the ground." IT infrastructure is aging very quickly. Pay is horrible considering the work load, contributing to high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your greatest asset - your employees.

    Cons

    Confusion about procedures
Little concern for employees by upper management

    Advice to Management

Need more balance between business needs and concern for customers and employees

I worked at Safe Auto (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great managers, excellent work environment, great benefits.

    Cons

Not much employee recognition or importance. They focus much on corporate issues and the bottom line. I felt like a sheep there in the end before I left. Morale was at an all time low and they are in need of change in the employee relations area.

    Advice to Management

appreciate your employees on the phone; if it wasn't for them, you would have no customers and no income.

I worked at Safe Auto full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    flexible company to work for

    Cons

very high pending files for adjusters

    Advice to Management

Decrease adjusters pending files in order for their product to be good and constant without unnecessary stress. A stressful job does not allow the worker to produce a good high quality product that customers are looking for therefore affecting the customer retention as a result. Management should step away from their desk and spend more time on the floor with adjusters in order for management to understand the life of an adjuster and only then they will understand that although it sounds easy, it is not easy to be an adjuster and handle so many things at once. Let management handle the phones for a few days and they might get a better view of how much an adjuster has to do on daily basis.
