    Pros

Willing to work with your schedule as long as you attend school.
Management was very friendly and actually listened to any feedback.

    Advice to Management

More one on one interactions after training to insure the employees have the proper tools to complete the task.

I have been working at Safelite full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Their management is extremely competent. All tools and vehicles are provided and the training is honestly world class. I walked in for a job and ended up finding a career path I love and enjoy. Our manager, Charlie, makes the good days great and the bad days way easier to deal with. I feel like I have an open door to all levels of management and my concerns are directly addressed. My coworkers really help foster a family environment and I spend most of my time laughing when I'm in the company of my coworkers.

    Cons

Dealing with the customers is trying at times. Some days you end up with a little too much on your plate.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

    Pros

You become family. Managers are understanding when it comes to your personal life.

    Cons

Health Insurance price has got through the roof. Management isn't great. There's been way too many managers who start and quits very shortly.

    I worked at Safelite part-time

    Pros

Customers are nice for the most part
    Overtime available
    Nice facility
    Good pay rate

    Cons

During training, time is manually tracked. My job coach inappropriately submitted mine win a ton of errors, causing my first check for a full week worked at $12 an hour to be only FOUR DOLLARS. This resulted in me being unable to pay my childcare facility and my child being kicked out of the program and I couldn't return to work. Been a month since it was brought to their attention and the mistakes still haven't been resolved. Word of advice: track you lrntime personally and have it signed off on daily by the job coach.

    Advice to Management

Pay closer attention to time entered so employees can properly be compensated. It's been a month and I still haven't been fully paid it because of the errors on managements part. Since I'm no longer an employee, this is all having to be done over the phone and nobody seems to care at all. They're telling me that for 2 weeks, I only clocked 29 hours. Literally nobody cares about this. Nobody at HR, Nobody in payroll, and certainly not the job coaches. Save yourself the hassle and find a place with competent management. This would've been a great job and perfect setting had this not all occurred.

I have been working at Safelite full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    -Good Pay
    -Awesome Benefits
    -Profit Sharing
    -Opportunity for Advancement
-Willing to work with the unexpected things in employees' lives
-Really listens to the employees's feedback
    -Constantly striving to do better

    Cons

-Sitting all day is very hard on the body
    -Work is monotonous
-Won't allow novels, magazines, or coloring books to deal with down time

    Advice to Management

-Perhaps slow down a little bit so there can be better organization and implementation with new ventures or major changes.
-Communicate better with the employees about major issues. We can sometimes be left feeling like management doesn't care because of poor communication or the lack thereof.
-Find a way to retain more of the wonderful people we already have and those that we will come in the future.

I worked at Safelite part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some access to corporate information and newsletters, etc that made employees feel connected to the bigger picture.

    Cons

Very low pay, and specifically they would keep employees at just under full time to avoid having to offer benefits. Cheap.

    Advice to Management

Make advancement opportunities known and help develop your employees.
