I have been working at Safran full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Cool products. Salaries and benefits are ok. Coworkers try to support each other because the corporate office doesn't really care about the global sites.

    Cons

French owned company. Very very French. Promotions are limited if your not French. US companies are neglected and not important to the corporate office. Most corporate communications are sent in French with no translation.

    Advice to Management

Treat US companies better, part of the corporation. The Safran USA president has no leadership experience.

I have been working at Safran full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Interesting and challenging projects. Work hours are flexible and benefits are acceptable. Middle management tries to do what's best for their group, not always well received up top.

    Cons

Management is very reactive, sales lacks knowledge, and engineer or project management takes the brunt of the issues (which happens often).
