I have been working at Sage full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great work life balance
    Good salary
    Multiple products
Sales, support and development in one building.

    Cons

The focus has stepped away from technology and leaned more towards marketing.
Promotion process is long and difficult.
You can come to work everyday and be a good employee that gets the job done and receives high scores, but it's not good enough, yet an employee that calls in sick all the time, makes customers angry and had been on multiple behavior plans will be promoted and given opportunities that advance their careers because the manager likes them.

    Advice to Management

Be professional. Be a leader. Be real.

I have been working at Sage full-time

    Pros

Excellent environment to grow and advance your career. High tech work environment, exceptional work atmosphere with nice facilities. Opportunity for advancement for people who work hard and have a clear career path. World Class technology solutions with a very strong customer base and market presence.

    Cons

Training on occasion can be dated. Organization is very large, many employees only know about their solution and division, and can create a confusing experience for incoming clients. Slow development of solutions. New employees can garner higher salaries than current employees in the same role. Your employment experience can vary based on your role.

    Advice to Management

Engage more on social media, wage standardization across the business units.

    Pros

Sage has a great culture of colleagues with whom to work with. There is a genuine drive to improve the working environment as well as ensuring customer service is improved.

    Cons

Leadership decisions made without always looking at the big picture.

    Pros

Sage is a great company. It offers a number of product lines, so we cater to almost everyone.
Sage is constantly evolving and growing, meaning there are many opportunities for staff to evolve and grow with it. Be patient & flexible.
Sage offers round table sessions to allow for employee feedback.
Sage offers employee engagement opportunities, to not only give back to others but to build moral within the organization.
We know who our leadership is & they are approachable. I can walk up to the global CEO and have a conversation about our customers or products, and he owns it. He doesn't just pass the buck. They try to be as transparent as possible. I always feel like we are in the loop of what is happening on a global scale.

    Cons

With the numerous products Sage offers, there is not enough integration between them. There needs to be more talking between products that will offer a full service solution.

Additional training is always a plus. Its difficult to get training on specific product lines if you work in a different group but work with that product line.

    Advice to Management

Continue to accept feedback. Be transparent & offer training access to all Sage employees.
