I worked at Sage full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very flexible and autonomous work environment. Management is very professional and will let you find your own way (but there when needed).

    Cons

Depending on the position, while your role may not change, your management structure will. There has been a lot of change over the past few years and direct reports seem to change pretty quickly.

I worked at Sage full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great collaborative environment, resources, management support, communications

    Cons

Clarity of vision for company's future and its employees, business partners not clear

    Advice to Management

Find opportunities for employees internally, who might be in a role less appropriate to their skillsets than another area of need vs dismissal or otherwise pushing them to seek another company and position.

I worked at Sage full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits and salary, Sage Fixed Asset division has great management. It is an empowering place to work, and their training was awesome!

    Cons

Sage is large and therefore not nimble - sometimes you make a suggestion and by the time it is acted upon, it's very different than the original vision and sometimes doesn't seem worth the effort of the change. Also they oddly changed my title (to something I did not aspire to be) in order to fit in the "corporate norm," but I was not consulted about it first, or given choices of different titles. I'd say overall they're a decent company though!

    Advice to Management
