I have been working at Sailthru full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Results Oriented Work Environment (kind of, depends on department) Friendly people in general Fast growth, bringing on more experienced business people

    Cons

Unstable tech stack Very young engineering team Kind of amateurish executive team Crowded and noisy office space

    Advice to Management

Watch out for people in-fighting and creating cliques and fiefdoms as you grow and there are more new people than veterans. Bring in some engineers with more experience and maturity and pay them right. Move beyond high school culture in engineering team. Be honest with people up front about career track.

I worked at Sailthru full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Flat structure- There is so much exposure across all functions and levels of the business. Decisions are made transparently taking into account the views of employees. There is a mindset that you always make time for all members of the team despite their level. learning and development- There are constant internal enablement tools/courses/efforts that allow you to grow your knowledge in the Martech space but as well...

    Cons

Small tight team in the UK- not necessarily a negative as you work closely with US team. Marketing Automation is a crowded market, and everyone in the market uses the same language to describe themselves. This makes it a tough sales role, but forces you to be creative. (Sailthru does give you the budget to do this).

I have been working at Sailthru full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - The top focus for the company is customer satisfaction, which means leadership asks for feedback and trusts the voice of customer & prospect facing employees - Roadmap transparency and speed of product releases has increased this year (which makes sales roles easier!) - Truly believe Sailthru has standout functionality, which makes working hard to sell it easier to get behind - Great employee perks like a...

    Cons

    - Crowded marketing tech landscape makes it difficult to differentiate Sailthru from others -- especially with buzzwords like "personalization" and "AI" used by all - Focus on growth and customer satisfaction means lots of internal analysis -- sometimes feels like too much process / management layers - Work/Life balance can occasionally be difficult to achieve - I would...

    Advice to Management

    - Need to invest more $ on getting our recognized in the market, competitors are moving fast and raising a lot of cash to catch up
