I have been working at Sailthru full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Great people. - You will learn new things. - Pretty good benefits. - The recently hired engineering managers helped to make things run more smoothly at Sailthru than before they came onboard.

    Cons

High pressure, High stakes, High stress agile process. This leads to engineer burnout. Many engineers either quit or stop caring as they are demoralized but still need to work for a living. Engineers regularly take days off just so they can destress from all of the pressures from management to release new features faster. Releasing product before it is ready often leads to software being released that is not fully...

    Advice to Management

Adding too much pressure to engineers around an overly rigid agile process means you are not getting the most out of your people. Sometimes you need the time and space to do things correctly or at the very least get the foundation solid.

    I worked at Sailthru

    Pros

lots of great people I worked with on the front lines in the csm, enablement and sales roles but the executives wouldn't know how good they really are.

    Cons

top down decisions made to often by the leadership team over there. I came here and couldn't believe how refreshing it was to know that the leaders wanted to work with people across all levels of this company. Their middle management wasn't much better either.

    Advice to Management

I tried when I was there, they don't really care.

    I worked at Sailthru

    Pros

Collaborative, Great People, Challenging and Interesting Work, Great Office Space. I miss Sailthru already and highly recommend it to everyone! The company's core belief (to make every message 1:1 in real-time and actionable) penetrates everything it does, from the product to the culture. You should join now while you have an opportunity to still get in to this fast-paced, high growth company.

    Cons

I have to submit 5 words of cons, per Glassdoor

    Advice to Management

    Have Glassdoor reflect new CEO

I have been working at Sailthru full-time for more than a year

    Pros

very casual, beer, relaxed, cool office and some really great people

    Cons

no infrastructure to do job effectively, claims to be all about transparency but in reality it isn't, have internal snitches to keep management abreast of going ons - VERY creepy, management is unskilled, horrible lack of communication, tools aren't given to succeed in role, there is no career track, if an executive doesn't like you personally, they make your life hell despite your work ethic and the quality of work...

    Advice to Management

hire a consulting firm to re-org and structure or you'll continue to lose excellent employees at the rapid rate you already are.

I worked at Sailthru full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great office location, flexibility to work from home and great people to work with

    Cons

Overpriced products, inferior products, a lot of pressure from Senior management to close deals, which is fine as it's a sales role but at least invest in developing the products.

    Advice to Management

Invest in developing the product suite.

I worked at Sailthru full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Good benefits - Good commission structure - Lot of great people

    Cons

    - The management team is seriously inept. There are a few great people there in marketing, inside sales and solutions consulting but the rest are really bad at their jobs. - If you give any kind of negative criticism of the decisions made by these people you will be labeled negative and fired if it continues. It's a very much drink the Koolaid company. - No idea where they...

I have been working at Sailthru for less than a year

    Pros

The great company culture, the opportunity, the challenge, working with great people in a white hot part of the market doing really interesting things with technology.

    Cons

There's lot of change all the time - it's not for everybody - but in a high growth company it's something that you have to accept.

    Advice to Management

Neil Lustig is doing a great job. Keep doing what you are doing and focus on the things we need to do to be successful.
