    Pros

Financially stable, fair in treating its employee.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

you've been doing it for 350 years, somehow it might be right. I wish good luck on the remaining 20 years remaining.

I worked at Saint-Gobain Abrasives full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Weekly pay even if it’s too low

    Cons

Micro time management, HOT, short breaks, over time

    Advice to Management

Doesn’t matter what I say. You won’t listen but maybe eventually when you keep losing employees you might rethink everything? Orientation was when I knew I was in trouble when the lady who came to take us to where we would spend the day was late and then gave us attitude like we was the late ones. Ridiculous micro time management of time. A computer system tells management how long something must take. All the employees are miserable. I finally had enough after 1 week. I gave up and left at break. Went and got me a better paying job that same day. I hope some of the nice people that stay find something else soon. It’s really a terrible sweat shop. Management is rude.

    Pros

Relative stable job environment; have all common benefits; sense of corp. responsibility; conservative and not take big risks; not make big mistakes.

    Cons

May be too conservtive at times; could be a bit more innovative and take more risks.

    Advice to Management

think about how to develp in the new ear and time, which is so different from hundress of years and even decades ago.

    Pros

Everyone is super nice, helpful and its a true sense of family. Everyday is something new and your always challenged with a new task. Every person is willing to lend a hand, they say hello when passing you - just a great place to work.

    Cons

Not a single con comes to mind.

    Advice to Management

Nothing - I think management is great, they check in but also leave you to do your work. Trusting that you will do a great job - even provide constructive feedback and positive kudos when you've done something good.

I worked at Saint-Gobain Abrasives (Less than a year)

    Pros

This isn't a great company to work for. Nice benefits for being a college student (including tuition reimbursement) and the things I learned while working at this company have been very useful in my career now. I am so greatful for my time spent in Stephenville

    Cons

Very high pressure for error free data entry. Any "error" made on an order resulted in almost a demerit and was a very stressful process.
