    Pros

Strategic vision, powerful branding, a company under transformation to adapt to a faster and faster world.
It's a company that invests in people's development.

    Cons

Needs more unity. The organization operates in a way that can be improved. The teams can be better trained to work together on common projects.

    Advice to Management

Simplify the matrix in the management levels.

I have been working at Saint-Gobain Abrasives full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone is super nice, helpful and its a true sense of family. Everyday is something new and your always challenged with a new task. Every person is willing to lend a hand, they say hello when passing you - just a great place to work.

    Cons

Not a single con comes to mind.

    Advice to Management

Nothing - I think management is great, they check in but also leave you to do your work. Trusting that you will do a great job - even provide constructive feedback and positive kudos when you've done something good.

I worked at Saint-Gobain Abrasives (Less than a year)

    Pros

This isn't a great company to work for. Nice benefits for being a college student (including tuition reimbursement) and the things I learned while working at this company have been very useful in my career now. I am so greatful for my time spent in Stephenville

    Cons

Very high pressure for error free data entry. Any "error" made on an order resulted in almost a demerit and was a very stressful process.

I have been working at Saint-Gobain Abrasives full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Many different jobs and employees at the operator level are awesome to work with. The pay at entry level is competitive and they match up to 6% of your salary in your 401k.

    Cons

Lower level management is not very knowledgeable of the operations taking place. They also show no interest in anything other than numbers. Double standards in some cases. The shift differential is a bit low compared to some places in the surrounding area.
