I worked at Saint Louis Community College part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I only worked at Forest Park Campus. The environment is kind chaotic; due extreme repairs on going. The people are friendly and courteous. I added my drive, character and sense of compassion understand the to all individuals. I can help accommodate. At time, sometimes students and staff are less open to others'. Archer reaches goals to make others stronger. As they become greater. Some staff and student help each other outside school. I always be myself and eliminate negative professionalism. If it referred by costumer, student or staff member at STLCC.

    Cons

It does not interest most local high school graduates to attend. Most students attend and work there know at least two people; than add new faces to there busy adjusted schedules. St. Louis Community College does not have a mascot nor band or cheerleaders. At times, sometimes students and staff are less open to others' than the ones' they know. There college spirit is base one theoretical assumption.

    Advice to Management

Should improve student and staff interest more effectively.

I worked at Saint Louis Community College full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The 5 year vesting period to be eligible for the Public School Retirement System (PSRS) employee lifetime benefit. After completing the 5th year, employees have access to the money they have been forced to invest or may elect to have a lifetime retirement benefit.

    Cons

Only the faculty are privileged to a promotion schedule. The rest of the employees rarely received raises. There weren't any merit reviews and when raises were issued, the squatters received the same amount as the high performers.

    Advice to Management

Get an entirely new board of trustees. They are truly incompetent.
