Pros
Great benefits, caring company that is employee oriented, and I feel the vaction time offered is better than most places. This is a great health system that has multiple opportunities for advancement throughout all of it's hospitals and facilities. It is without a doubt the best place I have ever worked
Cons
Workload is overwhelming at times. Pay is not quite as good as other facilities, and getting the opportunity to schedule your vacation time is difficult.

Saint Luke's Health System
Sep 11, 2016 - IT Analyst III in Kansas City, MORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Pay, depending on department, is good. Benefits are great, including PTO, ESL, 403B. Health insurance plan offers savings if you establish with Saint Luke's physicians and use their pharmacy. Education reimbursement is available if you are looking to go back to school. Opportunities for advancement in IT are available.
Cons
Benefits are being cut a little at a time since 2010 due to Affordable Healthcare Act, but are still great.

Good employer with great, affordable benefits.
Sep 17, 2013 - Anonymous Employee in Kansas City, MORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Very stable company with a long-term financial stability plan. Great, affordable benefits with added premium differential for participating in company's wellness options. Great focus on teamwork, and continuous quality improvement.
Cons
Pay and added "bonuses" are extremely variable between departments. Opportunities for continuing education are minimal for certain clinical departments. A high priority and favoritism is shown for more high-demand departments.

Everybody is overburdened, so nobody truly has time to produce quality work.
