    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Saint Petersburg State full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are possibilities to take an international internship, to participate in the international conference and to be financed by SPSU.

    Cons

For any initiative you have to deal with bureaucracy which is everywhere! If you are not a professor, the salary is not enough for normal live (accommodation + food + clothes).

    Advice to Management

Less bureaucracy and more independence of the faculties are important for normal work.

    Neutral Outlook

    Pros

I had high flexibility working at the university as a guitar tutor. I had the keys of the band room and could access it at any time convenient to me and to my students. Being a full time student of the university at the time I found it very convenient to work and study at the same area with no additional commuting. I also had opportunity to rehearse with my band at any time since I had the keys.

    Cons

The pay is quite low. There was no cleaning in the room I worked in so I had to occasionally do the cleaning myself, whipping the floor and cleaning the dust. The building really needs some renovation. The windows are very old and the insulation is bad.
